Beating Larissa Meek at Her Own Game

Larissa Meek and I have had this rivalry since she started at AgencyNet about a year and a half ago. I was pretty much the only blogger in the company, knew some key people in the industry (or at least, those who would link to me, not that I pay attention to "icons" [you know who you are]) and was generally involved in the blogging community.

I introduced Larissa to FeedBurner back after I had been using it for a while. I had 90 readers and she had about 20. Now she's above 400 and it's rising steadily. (gods help me if she starts to play World of Warcraft and the nerds find out. Geez.) Well now I have 107 readers according to Facebook, so she currently has the upperhand. Meeeeeeeeeeeek!

Sure, there's been a long period that I've been neglecting my personal projects and blogging. Then again, if you had my job, you'd have very little time for that anyways...

So I've come up with a plan to become more popular than Larissa Meek for reasons entirely related to good old fashioned rivalry. The following will be half satire, half for reals for reals...

• Get ultra hot and keep my nerd factor as is. This should be easy.
• Post pictures of Ripley. After all, she's apparently off the list of favorite puppies at AgencyNet.
• Consider moving my blogs to WordPress because Larissa thinks Movable Type sucks. Considered, moving on.
• Find another Chris Fullman that's speaking at some industry convention and then put a badge up. Before people realize it's another Chris Fullman.
• Create a blog network (in progress)
• Blog more in general.
• Post more pictures of Ripley. Again with the puppies, I don't know.
• Think of more things to add to this list...

This plan is obviously already in effect, I suppose I'll just have to find some time to really work on it.
