After digging through my desk in the middle of some spring cleaning in my room, I came upon a good handful of gift cards and I didn't have the foggiest idea what balances they carried. So, I came up with two very easy tips to help me keep them organized:
The first one was to call the balance checker hotlines or visit the sites (some cards don't have online balance checking) and to take my trusty label maker and print/attach the balance to the cards. Nice!
The next was to create an easily accessible spreadsheet (Google Spreadsheets came in very handy for this!) to record the card numbers, pins and balance. That way if I'm on their sites and want to use a card, I can grab the information from there without even needing to have the card on me!
Not to mention, it makes it easy to find the perfect gift card to re-gift... you know, in case you decided to procrastinate or just be cheap. Who hasn't done this, come on.

Re-gift??? Is that what you did with the Tractor Supply gift card we gave you?
