See, I made strange meep-like noises, was a nerd, liked music, sang, etc.
Fast-forward to today and, like the Muppets, I've kind of taken a back seat to my online presence lately. Many of my regular readers have reached out to me encouraging me to start posting again, more than just one or two posts a month. I guess Twitter has its place, but it seems that I needs to have a more solid presence online beyond social networks and microblogging.
Lately, there have been a series of Muppet clips that have been popping up on YouTube. Not only are these official, culturally-relevant snippets of original content produced solely for the online audience, but they are also often posted in response to other original content posted by users like you and me.
Beaker meeping "Ode to Joy" was a response to wzauscher's "Bach Bach Bach"
Now, these aren't posted by one single "MuppetGang"-style YouTube user, but each character is getting their own accounts and looks to be set up for frequent, future uploads. So far, there's Beeker, Sam the Eagle, Gonzo, The Sweedish Chef and of course, Statler & Waldorf.
The Walt Disney Company is updating the Muppets into a culturally-revelant brand again after quite a time of stagnation and saturation. This step of using YouTube to connect to users familiar and new is a strong move for a first step. Where are they taking the Muppets to next? I'm sure we're going to find out sooner than later.
That brings me to what I should bring to the web. There's something much more than occasional blogging and more-frequent tweeting. I've got to make my mark, I've just got to figure out how to make it and find the time to do it right.

Do what comes easiest to you. You have a long list of projects, pick one of them and just do it. Don't worry about your other ideas, or which one is better. There will always be time for them after your first project is done...
I liked Beaker as well as Gonzo and Animal. I never liked Mrs. Piggy, everyone knows pigs can't talk. What should you bring to the internet? You're being to selfless, you should think, "What can I take from the internet?" I don't know the answer, but I think it has something to do with a 'nonprofit organization' that deposits money directly into your paypal account.
I think you should work on Chimera Effect.
