3 TV Ads That Make You Think

With the popularity of DVRs and auto-commercial skipping on certain systems, advertisers are finding new ways to get your attention on TV, either by getting you to stop fast forwarding or to get a simple question to pop into your head: "what was that?"

Here are three ads that are currently running that are sure to spike your curiosity:

New 5 Gum: "Lush"

This campaign bases its visuals off the simple premise, with the advertiser scenerio: "if we had to explain to watchers what physical reactions they might feel while chewing New 5 Gum, how would we do it?" On another note, this looks like something we'd see in LOST.

Axe: "Dark Temptation"

Chocolate meets tweaking drug addict, this ad is sure to creep out any viewer. Those eyes.

We Can Solve It: "To Our Leaders:"

This ad uses simple typography and a strong message to get anyone to think about how we can eliminate the need for external energy while creating clean, domestic energy on our own. It speaks to anyone from environmentalists to families, students to politians. To learn more about how we can solve our climate and energy crisis, visit WeCanSolveIt.org
